Fr James – Message for the Third Sunday of Easter

Fr James – Message for the Third Sunday of Easter

By way of a newsletter I think it best to try to say something each week. here

I expect to be able to say Mass from St Joseph’s this Sunday and will record it and make it available online. My recent accident meant that I had to change plans and as I cannot drive at the moment Masses will have to be here for the time being.

On Tuesday 28th April at 2pm I will be conducting the funeral of Eileen Short at Cromer Crematorium – I hope you will all be keeping her in your prayers and thanking God for her life.  When things get back to normality we shall, of course, have a full Requiem Mass here at St Joseph’s.

One or two of you who may not posses a Missal have asked about Sunday Readings.  If you google The Wednesday Word it takes you to a website where you can click on the page which gives the readings for the following Sunday together with a helpful commentary by Dom Henry Wansborough which I know some people find helpful.

The weather seems to have got better and I trust that those of you who have a garden are able to get outside.  The bees in the Presbytery garden are now working well and the nectar is beginning to flow in – so I hope there will be something to harvest when the time comes.

Many thanks to everyone for helping us all to keep in touch.

God bless,

Fr James.
